Dave Gregan
Dave‘s career has centred around larger crews. Beginning in the lighting department and then as a 1st Assistant Camera on Features and Series, he has also detoured into corporate work and TV commercials. Dave has shot many short films and recently completed his first feature as Director of Photography. His busy life also includes being the head of the Rental Department at Picture Hire Australia.
Dai Cookes
Dai’s camera career has been built around smaller crews. Freelancing for many TV shows with local and international TV networks, operating live to air at sporting events, shooting 100’s of low to mid budget TV commercials, concerts and endless corporate work, his latest specialty is aerials with drones and helicopters. Dai is the owner of Picture Hire Australia.
Pierah Summers
Pierah is our newest staff member at Picture Hire Australia, but she comes with a solid CV. After graduating from Flinders Uni, she has worked on several long form projects, shot short films, worked as a Camera Assistant, and specialised in stills for the music industry. Along the way she has been awarded the “Emerging Cinematographer 2025” award, and has been described as one to watch.
