Basic Camera Knowledge
Module BCK
All of the basic skills to choose professional equipment, operate it successfully and create a quality product.
This course assumes little or no previous camera experience. From there it teaches all of the fundamental skills to produce useable professional images. You will learn how to operate a range of Sony cameras from basic mirrorless to full frame, top grade professional equipment.
Format: 4 x 3 hour sessions

Advanced Camera Knowledge
Module ACK
Following on from the basic course, or your existing camera experience, this module takes you from a functional beginner to a more sophisticated, and well-informed camera professional. You will operate top end Sony and Arri Alexa cameras. Features extensive practical experience.

Module BLCO
All of the basics of lighting for moving images. You will learn the technical and aesthetic skills required for lighting standard interviews and much more. You will operate a wide range of state of the art professional lighting.
Format: 2 x 3 hour sessions

Advanced Lighting for camera operators
Module ALCO
Moving beyond the basic lighting setups to more specialised lighting setups such as multi person interviews, wide area lighting, lighting wine bottles or jewellery, fighting against harsh sunlight and more
